A Chorus Lion
‘A Chorus Lion’ is the Wesley College Community Choir open to alumni, parents and friends of the College. Led by Doug Heywood OAM and with the support of our very talented pianist, Carl Stevens, the choir rehearses each Wednesday evening during term time in the Stillwell Recital Centre at the St Kilda Road Campus, singing a range of songs.
With soprano, alto, tenor and bass singers and happily, an increase in numbers, we are creating some really good music and the practice sessions are extremely enjoyable and uplifting! We performed at the Sacred Heart Mission in September and are returning there for a Carols Singalong with the residents in December.
