Consentino weaves his magic at Wesley

Cosentino, one of Australia’s most successful entertainers and 2013 Magician of the Year and Escape Artist of the Year recently revisited Wesley College to give a keynote presentation to our Middle School students. A Wesley College Glen Waverley alumni, Cosentino has visited the College previously to speak to students and was one of the main acts at Wesley’s 2014 Annual Gala Night: Magic & Illusion.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” was the theme of his keynote, as the magician pulled the curtains back to share the secrets of his success. He took the audience through his personal journey and illustrated how Creativity, Sacrifice, Motivation and Following your own Path have made him a successful entertainer. Students were immensely inspired as he spoke about the importance of perseverance in the face of rejection and staying true to yourself in his impressive career as a magician, entertainer and businessman.

Performances of magic and illusion were also woven into his presentation that intrigued and astonished our students!
