Our evolving uniform...

This year sees the introduction of a striking new uniform for the students of Wesley College. The new design reflects the symbols of the College  – purple and gold and the lion. Wesley students in the 19th century wore dark grey/black outfits with starched shirts and more often than not they sported a boater or cap. The first real flash of the now well-known purple came in the form of the school cap, which also sported a gold lion badge. Pupils were issued with 3 to 4 caps per year, to allow for replacements if the cap faded or was lost.

Today’s uniform, whilst acknowledging our past, is contemporary in style and designed for comfort and is worn by thousands of school children each day with great pride.
