Scholarships
The Old Wesley Collegians Association offers scholarships of up to 50% of tuition fees to the sons or daughters of Old Collegians who could not otherwise be able to attend the school. The scholarship can be taken up at the Prahran, Glen Waverley or Elsternwick campus, depending on a place being available. The scholarship will continue for the duration of the pupil’s schooling, provided progress and behaviour are satisfactory.
CONDITIONS
- The Old Collegian must show that without this assistance, the child could not enter Wesley or remain at the school. This will require the completion of a Wesley College means-test form
- The successful applicant will enter between Year 5 and Year 10 and if progress and behaviour is satisfactory, the applicant will hold the scholarship until they have completed Year 12.
- The scholarship covers half, or part thereof, of tuition fees only. It does not cover the acceptance fee, consolidated charges, music fees, costs involved in the provision of a fully maintained laptop computer or other special levies. It will also exclude the cost of any academic testing that may be required.
- The application must give details of the pupil's present academic progress and involvement in co curricular activities
